After
the birth of his second son, Charlie Meyers was
heading home when he had a craving for a hamburger
hot off the grill and a cold beer to wash it down. Not
finding what he was looking for he came up with the idea
for The Station Grill.
Upon
learning the former Parkway Leonard service station
was vacant and a liquor license was available Charlie
decided to leave his job as a product service manager and
open The Station Grill.
In
1972 The Station Grill opened its doors selling burgers
and beers. 30 years later we're still selling gourmet burgers
as well as an expanded menu including Tex-Mex favorites
and award winning Chili.
